ACRL NMDG-Call for Midwinter speakers on "What I wish I learned in library school"

ACRL NMDG-Call for Midwinter speakers on "What I wish I learned in library school"

Library school doesn't always prepare us for all of the situations and tasks that librarians encounter from day today. Who knew that you'd become a web designer, marketing director, and reference librarian all in one?! The ACRL New Members Discussion Group (NMDG) is seeking speakers for our up-coming Midwinter panel discussion where they will discuss the things they wish they had learned in library school. Topics for discussion are open but could include marketing, working in difficult institutional cultures, web programming, etc. Panelists will be asked to share their own stories and then we'll open it open for questions and discussion with the attendees.
The panel will take place: Sunday, January 22 10:30am-12:00pm at the Sheraton Dallas, Lone Star Ballroom C3
If you're interested in sharing your experiences please fill out this form http://bit.ly/vlfOoF

Thank you!
